Safe Streets USA was formed in January 2011 as the result the merge between Alarm Team and Eversafe Security.
AlarmTeam was a NC based security company founded in 1988 by Barry Simmons, President / CEO. For the first eight years the company provided traditional security services throughout NC and was regarded as one of the premier security companies in the state. In 1996 the company became one of ADT's 1st Authorized Dealers and it has been growing ever since. Their current operation covers nine states throughout the southeast.
Over the past decade the company has consistently ranked among ADT's top performing dealers. Both the company and Simmons have been inducted into ADT's Hall of Fame in addition to the company and its team members being recognized as top performers ( see awards ) in various categories. Simmons served as Chairman of ADT's Advisory Council for over six years and continues to work directly with ADT's management on key issues.
Eversafe Security was a NJ based security company that has been an ADT Authorized Dealer since 2000. Mr. Herman, the CEO, has served on the ADT President's Council for over six years and has received the Distinguished Service award. His company has received the prestigious P3 level award from ADT. Through internal growth and a series of strategic acquisitions of other ADT dealers, Eversafe Security became one of the country's largest ADT dealers. In 2008, AlarmTeam and Eversafe began a plan to combine marketing, management and operational resources in order to further the company's growth and increase efficiencies. In 2011 they completed the merger by forming of a single company and created the new brand of Safe Streets, USA. The company operates two main processing centers, one in Garner, NC and one in Elmwood Park, NJ along with two call centers and numerous branch offices. Currently, the company operates in over twenty five states, installs in excess of 50,000 systems annually and employs hundreds of dedicated men and women. Individual growth within the organization is commonplace and is limited only by one's commitment and desire.
If one word could sum up our culture it would have to be 'PARTNERSHIP'. We have a partnership with ADT as an Authorized Dealer, with Honeywell and GE as manufacturers and with key marketing companies for leads and sales. Perhaps our most valuable 'PARTNERSHIP' however is with our team members themselves. We work hard every day to provide them an opportunity where they can be successful and they work hard every day to take advantage of that opportunity. That is a true 'Partnership', that is our culture.
